W. R. Riggs & Associates,
Inc. was formed in 1985 as an engineering firm providing electrical and
mechanical engineering services to private industry and the U.S. Government DOD.
Initially, the firm provided only engineering services and focused on markets
such as Primary Metals, Pulp & Paper, Petrol-Chemical, Utilities and General
Manufacturing. Due to the strong industrial backgrounds of the company founders
and subsequent expansion of the company, we began to offer turnkey control and
automation solutions to our client base. We have been intimately involved with
the development and implementation of the industrial automation and control
systems revolution occurring in manufacturing during the past twenty-five (25)
years. During the past five years, the
company has been successfully promoting turnkey design/build services for
process related industries. Again, we recognized that our client base wanted
turnkey single point of responsibility and we structured our services
accordingly. Projects have ranged from entire new manufacturing plants and major
expansions to more routine renovations and production improvements. Today, Riggs is a turnkey automation & design/build engineering company providing mechanical and electrical process systems design and integration services to primary metals, metal forming, and general manufacturing industries. As part of these services, we specialize in providing turnkey control and factory automation systems to meet the specific requirements of our clients.
