W. R. Riggs & Associates, Inc. (Riggs) has positions open in our
engineering group located in Charleston, SC.
Riggs provides engineering services to industries as diverse as Metal
Forming, Primary Metals, Food & Beverage, Petrol-Chemical, Pulp & Paper,
and general manufacturing. These positions require electrical engineers with an
interest in the design of plant power, instrumentation, control, and automation
systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and
leadership ability, coupled with strong computer skills and a solid grounding in
engineering fundamentals. Project assignments will involve planning,
engineering, design, programming, construction overview, plant systems start-up
and training. PLC programming and AutoCAD experience a plus but not required.
EIT or PE certification is also a plus. Some travel (national &

planning, engineering, design, programming, construction overview, plant systems
